  Tonight's Sky
Helping the amateur astronomer plan their night by showing what you can see and what it will look like.

Find out what you can see tonight!

Find out what in your sky tonight! Tonight's Sky's mission is to provide an online tool for amateur astronomers to plan their observing sessions. You can select the level of difficulty and types of objects you wish to observe. A list of objects will be presented with links to help you research your targets. You can even print an observation plan.

Thanks in advance! I plan to include an image of each object as it will appear in the eye piece of a 6" instrument. I currently only provide links to sites with images. I will begin making my own images in a few months. I welcome any astro-imagers who would like to contribute images to the site. Your images will be credited to you and an optional link can be provided to your web site.
